Next gate to watch: Power arranged.

Your call. Will it be built?

Build odds is ArusGrid's reading of the public record, not a forecast, a rating or advice. It counts the gates this project has passed in public sources. Private progress does not show, a passed gate can be undone, and projects that pass every gate still stop. The method has not yet been tested against outcomes. How it works.

How Bahrain approves, powers and taxes data centers is on Data center rules in Bahrain.

Where it sits

Manama holds 2 active projects with 60 MW of planned IT load between them, and center3 Bahrain Data Center Park ranks first by planned capacity. Of those, 1 is under construction and 1 is on hold. No third party publishes a colocation vacancy rate for Manama, and ArusGrid does not estimate one.

It is the only center3 project ArusGrid tracks. It sits on the Bahrain Data Center Park. Named funding comes from stc Group on the equity side. No user of the capacity is on the public record as of 2026-10-01, after a check of operator, landlord, contractor, regulator and lender documents. Most colocation leases are confidential, so this says nothing about occupancy.

The stage was recorded as under construction on 13 November 2024. The money on record is US$320m as of November 2025, the announced investment.

Grid power for a large industrial user in Bahrain costs about US$0.095 per kWh as of September 2026, the country figure ArusGrid applies where a site has no published rate. The US export control position for advanced AI chips in Bahrain, as of 27 September 2026, is recorded as “Licence required as enforced (Country Group D:4), no named authorisation found”. ArusGrid holds 8 public sources for this project, the latest dated 4 November 2025, and last checked the record on 21 October 2026.

How well evidenced is it

Construction or financing is evidenced, or several independent signals agree. The rules are fixed and published on the Methodology page.

Why we think so. Kent's project page BHDC01 names Center3 as client in Bahrain with a March 2024 to February 2026 programme. This matches the timing of the Al Qurain park build (under construction Nov 2024, 65% complete Nov 2025). The page does not name the park itself.
