Where it sits

Johor holds 43 active projects with 4,880 MW of planned IT load between them. Of those, 3 are operational, 9 are operational and expanding, 11 are under construction, 1 is past financial close, 5 are at the land and permitting stage and 14 are announced only. Published colocation vacancy in Johor was 0.7% as of June 2026, on 897 MW of operational colocation capacity as counted by Cushman & Wakefield. Vacancy excludes hyperscaler self-build.

It is the only Logos (ESR) + UEM Sunrise project ArusGrid tracks. It sits on the Gerbang Nusajaya DC Campus. Named funding comes from ESR Group on the equity side. No tenant has been disclosed, which is normal for colocation and says nothing about occupancy.

The stage was recorded as cancelled in May 2025.

Grid power for a large industrial user in Malaysia costs about US$0.14 per kWh as of July 2025, the country figure ArusGrid applies where a site has no published rate. The US export control position for advanced AI chips in Malaysia, as of 27 September 2026, is recorded as “No US destination-based licence requirement as enforced”. ArusGrid holds 4 public sources for this project, the latest dated 25 June 2025, and last checked the record on 19 October 2026.
