Keppel Data Centre Campus (KDC SGP7/8/9) is a data center project in Singapore, operated by Keppel Data Centres. It is operational and expanding. The operator has not published a capacity figure, and ArusGrid does not estimate one.
Latest change on record: entered the record as expanding on 30 July 2026. Record last checked against its sources on 13 October 2026.
This project is built or running, so every gate counts as passed.
Build odds is ArusGrid's reading of the public record, not a forecast, a rating or advice. It counts the gates this project has passed in public sources. Private progress does not show, a passed gate can be undone, and projects that pass every gate still stop. The method has not yet been tested against outcomes. How it works.
How Singapore approves, powers and taxes data centers is on Data center rules in Singapore.
Singapore holds 39 active projects with 874 MW of planned IT load between them, and Keppel Data Centre Campus (KDC SGP7/8/9) has no published figure so it sits outside that ranking. Of those, 27 are operational, 3 are operational and expanding, 3 are under construction, 1 is past financial close and 5 are announced only. Published colocation vacancy in Singapore was 4.9% as of December 2025, on 1,043 MW of operational colocation capacity as counted by Cushman & Wakefield. Vacancy excludes hyperscaler self-build.
Keppel has 8 others in Singapore and 1 project elsewhere in the dataset tracked by ArusGrid, including Keppel DC SGP 11, Jurong Island (DC-CFA2), Keppel Floating Data Centre and DC1. It sits on the Genting Lane campus. Named funding comes from Keppel DC REIT and Cuscaden Peak Investments on the equity side. No tenant has been disclosed, which is normal for colocation and says nothing about occupancy.
The build is phased. KDC SGP7 is operational with a 2024 target; KDC SGP8 is operational with a 2024 target; KDC SGP9 is under construction. The stage was recorded as operational and expanding on 30 July 2026.
Grid power for a large industrial user in Singapore costs about US$0.20 per kWh as of July 2026, the country figure ArusGrid applies where a site has no published rate. The US export control position for advanced AI chips in Singapore, as of 27 September 2026, is recorded as “No US destination-based licence requirement as enforced”. ArusGrid holds 6 public sources for this project, the latest dated 30 July 2026, and last checked the record on 13 October 2026.

Keppel DC REIT's SGX transaction announcement for the acquisition of KDC SGP 7 and 8 states both are 100% contracted to 'well-established global hyperscale customers' on colocation contracts (4 and 3 customers), rents 15% to 20% below market. FY2025 results (2 Feb 2026) show both still 100% occupied with 4 clients each. No name is given in either document.

Platform capital spans several sites. It is never added to this project's own figure.
net property income S$94.6m a year, net property yield 9.1 percent on the S$1,030m agreed value, contracted rents 15 to 20 percent below market, no MW disclosed Electricity unstated. As of 2024-09. Keppel DC REIT Management, 2024-12-05
Keppel states no MW for any building, so no per kW figure can be published. On a directory figure of 38.7 MW the deal yield would imply about S$262 per kW per month, which is consistent with the circular's below-market statement, and is not published because a directory MW is not a source.
ArusGrid estimate, grade C. Published band for this country. Priced on the hyperscale band, which already reflects anchor deals. No usable capex for this site. Electricity excluded in the band. An estimate, never a quote, computed by fixed rules published on the Colo prices page and never counted in any total.
