True IDC EEC AI Hyperscale Campus is a data center project in Chonburi (EEC), Thailand, operated by True Internet Data Center (True IDC). It is under construction. The only published capacity figure is 250 MW of total facility power. IT load will be lower.
Latest change on record: entered the record as under construction on 1 April 2026. Record last checked against its sources on 22 October 2026.
Next gate to watch: Power arranged.
Build odds is ArusGrid's reading of the public record, not a forecast, a rating or advice. It counts the gates this project has passed in public sources. Private progress does not show, a passed gate can be undone, and projects that pass every gate still stop. The method has not yet been tested against outcomes. How it works.
How Thailand approves, powers and taxes data centers is on Data center rules in Thailand.
EEC (Eastern Seaboard) holds 21 active projects with 3,703 MW of planned IT load between them, and True IDC EEC AI Hyperscale Campus ranks 4th by planned capacity. Of those, 2 are operational, 1 is operational and expanding, 9 are under construction, 7 are at the land and permitting stage and 2 are announced only. No third party publishes a colocation vacancy rate for EEC (Eastern Seaboard), and ArusGrid does not estimate one.
True IDC has 3 others in Thailand tracked by ArusGrid, including True IDC North Muangthong, True IDC Data Center 7 (North Bangkok) and True IDC East Bangna Campus. It sits on the True IDC EEC campus. Named funding comes from Charoen Pokphand Group and Global Infrastructure Partners on the equity side. Named users of the compute are Microsoft and SIAM.AI Cloud (reported, unconfirmed).
The stage was recorded as under construction on 1 April 2026. The money on record is THB 77bn (about US$2.4bn) as of April 2026, the announced investment.
Grid power for a large industrial user in Thailand costs about US$0.10 per kWh as of July 2026, the country figure ArusGrid applies where a site has no published rate. The US export control position for advanced AI chips in Thailand, as of 27 September 2026, is recorded as “No US destination-based licence requirement as enforced”. ArusGrid holds 12 public sources for this project, the latest dated 31 July 2026, and last checked the record on 22 October 2026.
Construction or financing is evidenced, or several independent signals agree. The rules are fixed and published on the Methodology page.
Reaching this stage requires a dated construction source, which corroborates the project on its own.
Operator states it is Thailand's first facility purpose-built for large-scale GPU clusters / AI training; 250MW greenfield announced 2025; Microsoft reported as anchor for its Thailand cloud region.
This country carries no US destination-based licence requirement for advanced AI chips as the rules are enforced today. Access is a commercial matter between the project and its vendors. Criteria are published on the Methodology page.

Microsoft's and True IDC's joint release (28 Oct 2025) says True IDC will be one of the key datacenter partners supporting Microsoft's Thailand cloud region, without naming a site. DCD's groundbreaking report on the 250MW EEC campus states that in October 2025 it was revealed Microsoft would move into this data center, and DCD's Jan 2026 BOI report ties True IDC's three newly promoted facilities (Chonburi and Samut Prakan, 223MW) to the Microsoft partnership. The building link is DCD's, so reported stands.

Platform capital spans several sites. It is never added to this project's own figure.
No published price band exists for Thailand, and ArusGrid does not estimate from the regional benchmark alone. What was searched is listed on the Colo prices page.
